  CLIMATE OF BURGUNDY VINEYARD
The recognition of 2000 years of history...
The World Heritage Committee has inscribed Climates of the vineyards of Burgundy on the World Heritage List of UNESCO, at its 39th session in Bonn, Germany.
Climates have an outstanding universal value, a treasure now recognized worldwide.
It is you who have believed in this adventure have fervently supported, we want to honor and we want to thank from my heart. This registration is the result of a collective work conducted jointly by the authorities, state departments, the scientific committee, the wine world, companies and patrons and more than 64 000 members of the Support Committee you belong. Registration is recognition of the work of all generations who preceded us, wineries, Cistercian monks, dukes of Burgundy, who over the centuries have patiently built the vineyards of Burgundy pursuing excellence with determination. It opens a new page in the history of Burgundy Climates, as has been the creation of the AOC in 1936. It guarantees the conservation and transmission of the site for future generations.
It also opens up ambitious plans for the territory, in terms of culture, environment, economic development. Vive la Bourgogne!
